     هدف از مطالعه حاضر تحلیل روند خصوصیات خشکسالی­های استان همدان می­باشد. بدین منظور شاخص بارش استاندارد شده اصلاحی (SPImod) بر اساس داده­های بارش ماهانه 11 ایستگاه سینوپتیک و باران­سنجی استان همدان طی سال‌های 1363 تا 1392 محاسبه شد. خصوصیات خشکسالی، شامل شدت، مدت و زمان بین آغاز دو خشکسالی متوالی، بر اساس شاخصSPImod  تعریف و استخراج گردیدند. سپس روند خصوصیات خشکسالی­ها با آزمون ناپارامتری من-کندال محاسبه گردید. شیب خط روند با روش ناپارامتری برآوردگر سن محاسبه شد. نتایج نشان داد که در اکثر ایستگاه­ ها مدت خشکسالی دارای روند نزولی غیر معنی­دار بوده و شدت خشکسالی هم در بیش از نیمی از ایستگاه­ها دارای روند غیر معنی­­دار کاهشی بود. زمان بین آغاز دو خشکسالی متوالی بجز ایستگاه وراینه که دارای روند افزایشی معنی دار در سطح 1% بود، در سایر ایستگاه­ها کاهشی غیرمعنی­دار بودند. روند بارش ماهانه در اکثر ایستگاه­ها دارای روند غیرمعنی­دار افزایشی بوده بجز ایستگاه کیتو که دارای روند غیر­معنی‌دار کاهشی بود.
