زمین ­لغزش یکی از پدیده ­های مخرب منابع طبیعی بوده و پایداری جاده‌های جنگلی را تهدید می‌کند. هدف از تحقیق حاضر پهنه­بندی خطر زمین­لغزش جهت پایداری جاده­های جنگلی با استفاده از فرآیند تحلیل سلسه مراتبی در سیستم اطلاعات جغرافیایی است. نقشه پهنه ­بندی نهائی خطر زمین­ لغزش بر اساس تلفیق نقشه‌های مختلف و معیارهای اصلی توپوگرافی، پوشش گیاهی، زمین ­شناسی، خاک، آبراهه و جاده، در 5 کلاسه خطر زمین لغزش خیلی زیاد (19/40 درصد)، خطر زیاد (99/30 درصد)، خطر متوسط (50/22 درصد)، خطر کم  (29/6 درصد)  و خطر خیلی کم ( 03/0 درصد) به­ دست آمد. براساس نتایج بیشترین مساحت زمین لغزش از نظر شیب (30 -15 درصد )، از نظر جهت (جهت شمال) ، از نظر عمق خاک (عمق 110-100 سانتی‌متر)، از نظر نفوذپذیری خاک (با نفوذ پذیری خوب) ، از نظر زمین‌شناسی (سازند jmz و ql)، از نظر فاصله از گسل (فاصله 200-0 متر)، از نظر فاصله از آبراهه­ (فاصله 100-0 متر)، از نظر فاصله از جاده (فاصله 100-0 متر) ثبت شده است که بر اساس فرآیند AHP از صحت و دقت مناسبی برخوردار است.
