    شناسایی پتانسیل زیستگاه­ های گونه های بومی می ­تواند برنامه ­های حفاظت و احیاء را در حوزه­ های آبخیز تسهیل نماید. هدف از این پژوهش مدل­ سازی پراکنش رویشگاه درمنه کوهی در حوزه آبخیز بلده شهرستان نور، استان مازندران است. برای دستیابی به این هدف نقشه­ ­ی متغیرهای محیطی (متغیرهای فیزیوگرافی، خاکی و اقلیمی)، پس از نمونه­ برداری از پروفیل­ های خاک و همچنین جمع­ آوری اطلاعات مربوط به متغیرهای اقلیمی از سازمان هواشناسی استان مازندران به کمک تکنیک­ سامانه اطلاعات جغرافیایی در اندازه سلولی 10×10 متر تهیه گردید. در این مطالعه 60 مکان به ­عنوان مکان ­های حضور و عدم ­حضور گونه با روش نمونه ­برداری طبقه­ بندی تصادفی ثبت گردید. برای هر سایت نمونه ­برداری اطلاعات مربوط به حضور و عدم ­حضور گونه و متغیرهای محیطی ثبت و ارتباط بین پراکنش گونه و عوامل محیطی با استفاده از روش رگرسیون لجستیک (LR) تعیین و نقشه­ ی پیش­ بینی پراکنش گونه ­ی درمنه کوهی در منطقه مطالعاتی تولید گردید. نتایج حاصل از این مدل نشان داد که از بین 14 متغیر محیطی مورد مطالعه، به ترتیب نسبت جذب سدیم، متوسط دمای سالانه، شیب، سلیت و اسیدیته عوامل مهم تأثیرگذار بر پراکنش این گونه می ­باشد ارزشیابی صحت مدل با استفاده از ضریب آماری کاپا و سطح زیرمنحنی پلات­ های ROC انجام گردید. مقادیر شاخص ­های کاپا و سطح زیرمنحنی پلات­ های ROC به ­ترتیب برابر 5/0 و 75/0 برای مدل رگرسیون لجستیک می باشد؛ با توجه به مقادیر به­ نظر می ­رسد، روش رگرسیون لجستیک می ­تواند  نقشه پراکنش گونه درمنه کوهی در مقیاس محلی را تولید نماید. مدل تولیدشده می­تواند به ­عنوان ابزاری به­ منظور شناسایی مناطق مستعد جهت عملیات اصلاحی مورد استفاده قرار گیرد.
