طرح های منابع طبیعی برای بهبود شرایط محیطی و اجتماعی سیستم های اجتماعی-بوم شناختی برنامه ریزی و اجرا می شوند. پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین و شناسایی اثرات اجرای طرح های منابع طبیعی بر مسائل اجتماعی- اقتصادی روستاها، و همچنین کسب دیدگاه ها و نظرات مرتبط روستاییان انجام شده است. منطقه مورد مطالعه، روستاهای حوضه آبخیز چاه نوروز شهرستان قلعه گنج کرمان انتخاب گردید که با توجه به تعداد خانوار جامعه و به کمک فرمول کوکران، تعداد نمونه ها انتخاب، و به صورت سیستماتیک تصادفی با پرسشنامه مورد آماربرداری قرار گرفتند. طبق نتایج، از آنجایی که جنبه های اقتصادی اجرای طرح های منابع طبیعی به طور دﻗﯿـﻖ ارزیـﺎﺑﯽﻧـﺸﺪه بودند، بازدهی و کارآمدی لازم از اجرای طرح ها در منطقه حاصل نشده و در اﺷﺘﻐﺎل و یا عدم ﻣﻬـﺎﺟﺮت روﺳــﺘﺎیﯿﺎن ثاﺛﯿﺮی نداﺷﺘﻪاند. همچنین در اﺳﺘﻔﺎده از ﻣﻨﺎﺑﻊ روﺳﺘﺎیی برای اﺟﺮای طرح ها، رﺿﺎیﺖ اهالی ﺣﺎﺻﻞﻧﺸﺪه و در کل بیشتر روﺳﺘﺎیﯿﺎن از اﻧﺠﺎم طرحها و دستاوردهای آنها رﺿﺎیت ندارند. در نتیجه، اجرای این طرح ها اثر چندانی بر بهبود وضعیت اجتماعی - اقتصادی روستاییان نداشته است. یافته های این پژوهش، مبنایی برای چگونگی سیاستگذاری سازگار و همچنین نوع کمیت و کیفیت طرح های منابع طبیعی است.
