Guide to writing and editing articles in

 Research Journal of Watershed Management

1- Objectives
(1) Dissemination and dissemination of research results and research conducted in the field of watershed management, (2) helping to develop and promote knowledge in the field of watershed management and (3) providing a suitable environment for the exchange of ideas and information between academic and research centers. In the field of watershed management

2- Subject of articles
Management of watersheds, water and soil protection, hydrology, remote sensing and geographic information systems, natural disasters (floods, droughts and mass movements), meteorology, soil erosion and sediment production, land use change, geomorphology and geology and Other issues related to watershed management

3- Conditions for reviewing articles
This publication reviews received articles with the following features for publication:

In line with the above topics.
The result of the author's studies, experiences and research.
The result is an extensive review and analysis of previous findings.
The article has not been previously published or published in another journal. After publishing the article, the copyright is reserved for the journal and the author (s) should not submit their articles to other scientific-research or promotional journals (whether in Persian or other languages).
The submitted articles should be prepared in accordance with the journal's writing guide. Failure to comply with the guidelines for writing the article will not be sent to the judges for scientific evaluation.
4- Writing guide

The editorial board of the Watershed Management Research Journal considers the strict observance of the following instructions as the conditions for accepting the article:

The different sections of the article include 1- Title, 2- Persian Abstract, 3- Keywords, 4- Introduction, 5- Materials and Methods, 6- Results and Discussion, 7- Thanks and Appreciation, 8- References and 9- Abstract to The language is English.

4-1- Title

The title of the article should be concise and clear and should not exceed 25 words.

4-2- Abstract

The Persian and English abstracts are a summary of the article with an emphasis on purpose, research method and results, and are in a continuous paragraph and a maximum of 300 words. The English abstract is a comprehensive translation of the Persian abstract.

4-3- Keywords

Keywords include a minimum of five and a maximum of eight separate words about the research topic that, if possible, do not include the words in the title. English keywords should be given below the English abstract in alphabetical order equivalent to Persian keywords.

4-4- Introduction

The introduction includes the statement of the problem, the introduction and necessity of the research and the reference to the previous research, and at the end of it, in a sentence or paragraph, the purpose or objectives of the research are mentioned.

4-5- Materials and methods

Explain in full the area, location and time of execution, sampling methods, materials and equipment used, test plan and statistical measurement and analysis methods.

4-6- Results and discussion

All quantitative and qualitative research results should be presented in this section based on the table and figure (curve, diagram, image or photo, map). In this section, the results obtained will be discussed according to the objectives of the research and the findings of others. Research recommendations and suggestions should also be included in this section.

4-7- Thanks and appreciation

The author (s) of the article can thank the funders and contributors for the research in this section (this section is optional).

4-8- Resources

The sources used are numbered in Latin and in alphabetical order of the first author's last name and are given at the end of the article.
If there are several authors, after writing the last name and the first letter of the first author's name, for other writers, first the first letter of the name and then the last name of each of them should be given.
Mention the full name of the magazines. Also, the first letter of each word in the name of the magazine should be in capital (Capital).
Consider the proper location of a period, comma, colon, and space, as in the following examples.
The first letter of the first word in the title of the source should be capital letter.
In the text of the article, the sources used should be introduced by mentioning the number in parentheses. There should be no space between source numbers and only commas should be used (4,2,18).
When citing the name of the author (s) in the text of the article, the source number should be given in parentheses in front of the author (s) and the year should be avoided (Ebrahimi et al. (4) found in a study that ....)
If the authors of the cited sources are more than two, state the last author's last name in the text and use the word "et al."
 For translated books, write the source based on the last name and first name of the translators.
About the book, respectively: authors (translators), year of publication, full title of the book, volume number, 2 editing numbers, publisher, city and country of the publisher and the number of pages of the book.

If a chapter of an edited book is used in the following order: author (s) of the chapter, year of publication of the book, title of the chapter, reference to the original book with the word In :, editor (editors) of the book with ed. Or eds. Inside the parentheses, book title, chapter page number, publisher, city and publisher country.

About the article in order: author (s), year of publication of the article, title of the article, 3 titles of the journal, volume number, journal number inside the parentheses and the first and last pages of the article in the journal.

4-9- Writing style

- The article should be prepared in a maximum of 12 pages with a space line (one centimeter) in the form of two columns (a newspaper with a width of seven centimeters per column) and a margin of three centimeters in Word 2007 software. 2 Mitra 12 font for Persian text and Times New Roman 10 font for English words in the text.

- For other parts of the article, use the following type and size of fonts: (1) Persian title 2 Mitra 14 and bold (Bold), (2) Author name (s) 2 Mitra 11 and bold (Bold), (3) Organizational affiliation of the author (Gan) 2 Mitra 9, (4) Persian abstract text 2 Mitra 10 and bold (Bold) and English words in the text Abstract Times New Roman 8 and bold (Bold), (5) Section header 2 Mitra 12 and bold (Bold) And under the heading of each section 2 Mitra 11 and Bold, which is not numbered, (6) in the English Abstract section, the title of the article Times New Roman 12 and Bold, the author (s) Times New Roman 11 and prominent ( Bold), the organizational affiliation of Times New Roman 10 individuals, the text of the English abstract Times New Roman 11, the abstract headline and the keywords Times New Roman 11 and Bold.

- The tables and figures should be given non-columnar in the text after the relevant explanations, and the Persian titles of tables with font size 2 Mitra 11 at the top and English titles of tables with font size Times New Roman 9 as well as Persian titles of shapes with font size 2 Mitra 11 And the English titles of the figures with the size of Times New Roman 9 pen should be mentioned at the bottom. Mention of unit (in metric system) and scale for tables and figures in Persian and English is required. The tables are designed to be open (only the top and bottom lines are visible) and the box around the figures is not included. It is emphasized that the numerical scales on the horizontal and vertical axes of the figures are English.

- The scientific name of plants or animals both in the text and in sources in italics (italic).

- The English equivalent of specialized words should be subtitled on each page.

5- Submit an article

The article should be sent in two separate versions, one with the author's name (Gan) and the other without the author's name (Gan) through the publication's website (http://jcb.sanru.ac.ir). To submit the first article of the form
Complete the database registration and then refer to the article submission section. Also, receive the letter of commitment form from the magazine site and complete and send it.
Registration and submission of the article must be done by the person in charge of the correspondence of the article. The journal will only be responsible for correspondence.
Article specifications include the title of the article, the name of the author (s), their academic rank and organizational affiliation, along with the e-mail and contact number of the responsible author.
After submitting an article to the journal, any change in the number of authors must be notified in writing to the journal by the responsible author.
The submitted articles will first be reviewed quantitatively and qualitatively by the editorial board, and if deemed appropriate (provided that the points in this writing guide are followed), the author will be evaluated by at least three qualified and anonymous judges. (Gan) will be sent to the relevant field.
Acceptance and publication of the article is subject to the completion of all edits requested by the Office of the Journal.
6- The cost of the initial review of the article

Following the letter of permission to receive money from the authors of the initial review of the article (before sending to the members of the editorial board) to appoint a referee and send to the referee subject to payment of five hundred thousand rials (fifty thousand tomans) to account 968083287 at Tejarat Bank Khazar Blvd. The research income of Sari University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and its receipt is sent to the e-mail address of journal_sanruyahoo.com. In the deposit slip, the article code and the responsible author should be mentioned.

7- Printing cost

- Issuance of the final acceptance letter of the article and its printing is subject to the deposit of one million Rials (1,000,000 Rials) through the electronic payment system of the magazine to account number 83287 with Tejarat Bank, Khazar Boulevard, Sari Branch (Branch Code 9680)
The research revenue account is called Sari University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and the tracking code received from the system is sent to the journal's e-mail address (journal_sanruyahoo.com).

8- Magazine subscription

The price of a one-year subscription for two issues of the magazine, including postage, is 200,000 Rials. Submit the subscription fee to the account number mentioned above and send the deposit slip to the e-mail address of the journal mentioned in paragraph six.
