مدل‌های گردش عمومی به ­عنوان منبع اصلی شبیه‌سازی اقلیم، دارای شبکه محاسباتی با ابعاد بزرگ بوده و قادر به ارائه اطلاعات قابل اعتماد برای مدل‌سازی هیدرولوژیکی نمی‌باشند. برای پرداختن و رفع چنین محدودیت‌هایی از روش ریز‌مقیاس نمایی استفاده می ­شود. در پژوهش حاضر، شبیه‌سازی اثر تغییر اقلیم بر رفتار بارش و دمای ایستگاه سینوپتیک سیرجان در استان کرمان، مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. در ابتدا عملکرد مدل شبکه عصبی مصنوعی به‌منظور ریزمقیاس­نمایی متغیرهای اقلیمی پیش­ بینی ­شده توسط مدل گردش عمومی CanESM2 مورد آزمون قرار گرفت. در ادامه با استفاده از مناسب ­ترین مدل­ ها مقادیر دما و بارندگی متوسط ماهانه برای دوره ­های آتی تحت سناریوی RCP 4.5 پیش­ بینی و بررسی گردیدند. نتایج نشان داد که برای متغیر دما ساختار مدل شبکه عصبی با تعداد 2 لایه پنهان، 8 نرون، تابع محرک تانژانت و لوگ­سیگموئید و همچنین الگوریتم آموزش لونبرگ-مارکوات دارای بیشترین کارایی و مقادیر RMSE، NS و R2 به ترتیب برابر با 387/0، 973/0 و 917/0 بوده است. همچنین برای متغیر بارش نیز ساختاری با تعداد 2 لایه، 8 نرون، تابع محرک تانژانت و لوگ سیگموئید و الگوریتم آموزشی لونبرگ-مارکوات عملکرد مناسب­ تری داشت و مقادیر RMSE، NS و R2 به ترتیب برابر با 867/2، 849/0 و 924/0 می­ باشند. سایر نتایج نشان داد که تا سال 2099، میانگین دما در سناریوی RCP 4.5، 3 درجه ‌سانتی‌گراد افزایش خواهد یافت و بیشترین افزایش مربوط به ماه اگوست به مقدار 9/4 و کمترین افزایش مربوط به ماه آوریل به مقدار 8/1 می‌باشد. نتایج، همچنین افزایش قابل توجه در میزان بارش ژوئیه تا نوامبر و کاهش بارش در ماه­ های مارس و می را نشان داد. با این وجود در مقیاس سالانه، تغییری در میزان بارندگی رخ نخواهد داد.
