Abstract:   (9386 Views)
Millions of cubic meters of water run out of reach into rivers annually. Artificial recharge of ground water collection of regional drainage water and re-use of it and simplicity in construction shows Wetland (artificial reservoir) as a sustainable local structure. In planning about irrigation and drainage network of Alborz dam in WEAP medium was modeled. For equitable allocation in project limit, the whole area was divided into 10 demand points. These areas have demand points and its own allocated water. This area consists of 3 agricultural parts, developing (T), improvement (B) and out of scheme (A) and two drinking demand points of Ghaemshahr and Jouybar. 30 years data from each demand point was entered into the model. This model was simulated until 1395. Due to effect of equalization of Wetlands in consumption points and reduction of water tension in peak water use months were carried out. The results showed average annual reduction in deficit resulting from dredging and improvements of Wetlands in those points were 42 million m3 and also will cause deficit in storage water of 15.8×106 in Alborz dam reservoir.
