چکیده مبسوط
مقدمه و هدف: رودخانه کرخه به­ عنوان سومین رودخانه بزرگ ایران، همه ساله حجم آب وسیعی را به دشت خوزستان روانه می‏ کند. احداث سد مخزنی کرخه در کنار مزیت­ های متعدد، جریان رودخانه­ را در پایین­دست خود به­ طور گسترده تحت تاثیر قرار می­دهد. نادیده گرفتن اثرات سازه­ ها در حذف یا کاهش جریان­ های رودخانه­ ای و به ­ویژه ظرفیت­ های سیلابی، منجر به سرمایه‏ گذاری در زمینه کشاورزی، صنعت و شهرسازی در حاشیه‏ رودخانه­ ها، پایین دست سدها و نواحی پرخطر در برابر سیل شده است.
مواد و روش ‏ها: در مطالعه حاضر به بررسی روند تغییرات رژیم سالانه و سیلابی رودخانه­ کرخه در یک بازه زمانی حدودا 50 ساله و بررسی ارتباط این تغییرات با تاسیس سد کرخه پرداخته شد. بدین منظور از چهار آزمون آماری (Pettitt، SNHT، Buishand، von Neumann) برای بررسی همگنی داده‌های دبی حداکثر لحظه ­ای و دبی متوسط سالانه در ایستگاه هیدرومتری پای‏پل و تعیین نقاط تغییر و جهش، استفاده شد. همچنین به ­منظور تعیین نقش پارامترهای اقلیمی بر دبی رودخانه نیز، از آزمون همبستگی پیرسون استفاده شد.
یافته‏ ها: با توجه به آبگیری سد کرخه در سال 1380، نتایج مطالعه نشان داد که میانگین دبی­ های حداکثر لحظه ­ای، در بازه زمانی 32 ساله قبل از افتتاح سد در ایستگاه هیدرومتری پایین دست سد (ایستگاه پای­پل)، برابر با 1976 مترمکعب بر ثانیه و در 16 سال پس از آن که همزمانی با افتتاح سد کرخه نیز دارد، با کاهش چشمگیر 78 درصدی، معادل 417  مترمکعب بر ثانیه شده است. لذا با توجه به حذف پیک ­های سیلابی بلافاصله پس از احداث سد کرخه، با قاطعیت می­ توان شاهد تاثیر سد بر مهار پیک­ های سیلابی رودخانه کرخه بود. همچنین نتایج بدست آمده نشان داد که بیشترین همبستگی دبی حداکثر لحظه­ ای در سطح معنی­ داری 95 درصد، با پارامتر SPEI یا خشکسالی هواشناسی می ­باشد. پایش تصاویر ماهواره­ ای نیز نشان می ­دهد که تا قبل از آبگیری سد کرخه (1380)، پهنه های سیلابی در شرایط وقوع سیلاب، پوشیده از آب بوده و پس ازین سال با وجود رخداد سیل و گزارش دبی پیک بالا در رودخانه کرخه،
هیچ­گونه آبگیری از رودخانه کرخه در دشت­های سیلابی مشاهده نشده است.

نتیجه ‏گیری: رژیم سیلابی رودخانه کرخه در پایین‏دست سد کرخه، از سال 1376 شاهد روند کاهشی ناشی از تغییرات شاخص خشکسالی اقلیمی بوده که از سال 1380، تحت تاثیر افتتاح سد کرخه از روند ثابتی برخوردار بوده و مهار سیلاب­ ها توسط سد را نمایش می ­دهد.
