   امروزه روش ­های کنترل رواناب و فرسایش خاک به ­عنوان یکی از  بحث­ های مهم در سراسر جهان مطرح است. از این­ رو استفاده از افزودنی­ های خاک به­ منظور حفاظت آب و خاک امری ضروری است. از سویی دیگر افزایش روز افزون لجن­ تولیدی کارخانه­ ها و تبدیل آن­ها به سایر مواد سودمند از جمله افزودنی خاک امری مهم می­ باشد. لذا پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی اثر بایوچار حاصل از لجن کارخانه جوجه ­کشی با مقادیر به ­ترتیب 4/0، 8/0 و 6/1 تن بر هکتار بر مولفه های زمان شروع رواناب، حجم رواناب، ضریب رواناب، هدر­رفت خاک و غلظت رسوب انجام شد. مراحل انجام پژوهش حاضر در شرایط آزمایشگاهی در شدت 50 میلی­متر بر ساعت و شیب 20 درصد با سه تکرار در مقیاس کرت انجام شد. نتایج نشان داد که بعد از کاربرد افزودنی بایوچار با مقادیر 4/0، 8/0 و 6/1 تن بر هکتار زمان شروع رواناب نسبت به شاهد به ­ترتیب 19/71، 58/91 و 54/150 درصد نسبت به تیمار شاهد افزایش، حجم رواناب به ­ترتیب با مقادیر 00/21، 40/31 و 47/36 درصد نسبت به تیمار شاهد کاهش و هم­چنین ضریب رواناب به ­ترتیب با مقادیر 57/67، 94/56 و 35/46 درصد  نسبت به تیمار شاهد کاهش یافتند. بایوچار منجر به کاهش هدر­رفت خاک به ترتیب به مقدار 04/71، 60/77 و 63/85 درصد و غلظت رسوب با مقادیر به ­ترتیب 16/63، 21/67 و 17/76 درصد نسبت به تیمار شاهد شد. نتایج آزمون آماری نشان داد که تاثیر مقادیر مختلف بایوچار بر مولفه ­های زمان شروع رواناب، حجم رواناب، ضریب رواناب، هدر­رفت خاک و غلظت رسوب در سطح اعتماد 99 درصد معنی­ دار بود.
